Hmmmm. I just hope that its remembered that RTS based games do not go on prettying the game up. It may be found that having these on a ship might be cause for a concern with regards to lag.

Well as I've said in the past the only way to find these things out it to try them. Unfortunately one of the main aspects of building any mod is experimentation. Don't get me wrong. These are of very good and detailed quality. It's just that rts games tend to rely more on texture detail than mesh detail. Still most people nowadays tend to have semi decent pcs and can handles these sorts of details. It'll be interesting to see if the coding comes right with these. I've only seen a couple of mods using auto tracking turrets that work 100%
Oh and the laser canon looks more like a heavy rail gun.
