Located on a lush, forested world, this classified imperial research facility was constructed covertly during the final years of the Galactic Republic under direct orders from the Chancellor. It plays host to unknown and highly secretive military projects, and is also the center of genetic and other scientific research conducted on behalf of the highest levels of the imperial hierarchy for as yet unknown purposes.
Update changelog:
-Fixed issue preventing about half of the clones from spawning in cw
=Fixed many (slightly) floating objects
-Added imperial dropship props (credit Lokgroa)
-Misc. balancing/planning changes
-Fixed/mitigated numerous collision issues
-Minor bug fixes
Just redownload to get the changes
At last, Bad Batch makes it to Trench War! This map depicts the imperial research base shown at the end of BB season 2, and contains custom units (Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, Wrecker, Echo, and Fennec Shand), vehicles, and more. To my knowledge, it's the first time Weyland has come to swbf2 -love to trailblaze! An important milestone for me, as I now have made 16 ground maps for Trench War, the same amount advertised as being claimed in the original release of the game. It was my target to match it, and with this I have. Next target will be to exceed it. Hope you enjoy!
An update is likely in the coming days with any bugs that are reported, and potentially new assets (a new prop I like was released as I'm typing this waiting for the file to fully upload - of course it's released just as I'm finishing up!).
Pls let me know about bugs and other feedback, especially in the cw era which is less heavily tested
PERFORMANCE NOTE: This is a large file, and while its current form is stable for me, I experience many, many, MANY crashes in various stages of development, so hardware limitations for low performing devices may or may not apply. I can only test it on my own hardware. Not tested for compatibility with other mods, but I plan to test it with the remastered sides and soundfixes on my desktop after I release it from my laptop, where all my modding software is.
To install, put the "cl8" folder into your addon folder
Screenies:
Known bugs:
-Awkward collision on several objects, including some of the urban trenches and death star walls
-Some missing vehicle sounds in CW
-flickering objects
-CW is present and functional, but not as heavily tested

Tu mapa es hermoso!! Como siempre
Great map!!!
Thank you! worked hard on it
Isn't Weyland from Alien and Wayland from Star Wars? xD
Nevertheless great map!
Wookiepedia says "weyland", and mentions that the SW universe has both spellings in different places. It says it went with "weyland" because it was used in "story content" in sw rather than the wayland spelling which was mostly used in reference content.
Fun fact! Since the name was not mentioned at all in the show either way, I originally titled my map "Classified Location" (hence the file name of CL8) before I discovered all this. I will change the name depending on how BB season 3 spells it in the subtitles upon release, as that will be the definitive authority. I spent too much time worrying about this!
Oh alright! Perhaps I was used to the EU Wayland spelling, thanks for the clarification! :D
