This total overhaul of Rome:Total War is based upon the Second World War. It contains historical battle locations on different fronts.
I've finished the faction selection screen descriptions for all the factions monday night.
Dagovax Sirrianus changed the portraits of Rome vanilla leaders into banners of the new factions, and he changed the RomeTW map to that of the main starting area of each faction.
I've now gotten the official 1.0 version from dagovax, and there is a possibility we will add a few map-files from Saloth-Sar before we release the mod. And i am about to playtest the mod today and as such the release will be tomorrow but probably not in the beginning.
That means we have two days to playtest almost. And that we may only add some final improvments to this 1.0 version and playtest it before it is ready. I will only preview the main seven factions here.
May the 1st is a unique day and most suitable for this mods release-date. It is an historical date for socialist countries and it is connected to WW2.
Yugoslavia?
Was supposed to be a horde-faction but the Horde-function crashed the mod. Was replaced with Hungary.

as a turkish person i still dont understand why is turkey there and not yugoslavia or greece
Turkey was on the map in the real history, and it would be odd to not have them there - they were neutral. What is to say that they in a Total War game wouldn't change their actions and actually partake in the war?
Also, i do believe Dagovax explained to me they were a good "wall" for Germany and others to enter the Middle East.
Also, Greece and Yugoslavia were conquered by this point in the war.
what about us Aussies.we basically are our own faction.
Austrians - joined Germany in 1938 i believe.
Australians - Were a part of the British Commonwealth. There are Australian units in the British roster. When playing as Britain you are basically the entire British Empire.
