People's Republic of China (Mao) has gotten quite a few new units! image - Total War : 1942 mod for Rome: Total War
This total overhaul of Rome:Total War is based upon the Second World War. It contains historical battle locations on different fronts.
Dagovax has been hard at work on this mod, and has improved a number of factions - The People's Republic of China (spawning faction) has gotten quite a few units including infantry variation, variation in tanks, anti-air etc and an Officer's Unique car.
Mod is taking place between 1942 and 1953 so most of their tech is 1950's tech. There was no way to keep the mod to 52 turns per year and as such the time did move beyond WW2. China hardly had tanks during the war with Imperial Japan (Second Sino-Japanese war) so only the most sucky tank would be correct for WW2. And they had very few of those.. But as the mod moves beyond 1945 they will be able to get 1950 tech.
