I really like the nice dark style that is being portrayed here. Do run with that.
From a design stand-point, it looks a little heavy at the top rear. I can't tell from the angle, but it appears that it overhangs the treads. It would make the chasis really unstable for going up and down terrain. Either move that joint towards the middle a little bit, add something on the front to sort of balance it, or add another set of treads (much like the scorpion of CnC3).
I think that maybe there could be some kind of heavy plate covering the space between the treads at the front, im not sure though.
Haven't seen the other designs, but this looks excellent so far) Better then what EA did)

I have to be completely honest here that I don't remember that at all but I believe you though, don't worry (and even then you'd still get my permission to use it now - I mean hell if there's one thing better than seeing my tank drive around in a mod, it's seeing my tank drive around in two mods :D ).
Anyway your model of it looks very cool, it looks quite a bit different though from how I imagined it in 3d so I think our model will look different enough from yours.

WoW, this tank is realy a scorpion tank of NOD. It both looks like a scorpion + it have the symbolic weapon of NOD, the obelisk. I want this ingame!

It's very very sexy, lol. Will the "grappling claws" still be there? The 'obelisk' suits it more than the CnC4 one. I mean this one.
It is much better than scorpion in cnc 4. And also I read the profile of scorpion tank, it says that they designed him like that to frighten their enemy, that is laughfable, this one looks very scary and you can see much work behind it unlike scorpion in cnc 4. Also keep the crystal in his tail, it looks like a sting.

Ahh, a lot better than EA's failed scorpion-shaped Scorpion Tank. Theirs is a Red Alert based, yours is a serious business!
Hmm, I like the sting, it's a good job, I wonder if shorten the tail a little bit is a good idea. I also wonder will they burrow & crush infantry just like in the C&C4 gameplay?
Also include the ability of vehicles to crush infantry. There is no crushing infantry in cnc 4. Neither mammoth tank cannot crush even an engineer.
i love the design, maybe you should retain the 4 treads of the cnc3 scorpion.

It has 4 tracks, 2 separate ones in the front and 2 together on the rear pod.
Looks good looking forward to playing this mod some day.

side note: if your thinking of removing the crystal i would vote against that if anything make the crystal slightly smaller.

Wow the CNC4 one sucks hell.
yea i've seen that version of the tank in action and while in theory it sounds cool there isn't a practical way of making it work properly. I'm glad to hear that this is a prototype

U might give this Scorpion An alternetive attack like Melee Combat when enemy is too near so he Shoots the enemy and attacks him in melee in the same time.
