So, is CABAL becoming a fully fledged faction, or is it a Campaign Only thing where he'll sport some "Boss" versions of existing units. I'm totally okay with that, I'm much more interested in the campaign than in the multiplayer, but I felt like asking regardless.

These units will replace the Nod buggy and bike for CABAL in the Firestorm campaign. CABAL will not be playable in multiplayer, but his legacy lives on in the form of a Nod splinter group that utilizes both CABAL and Nod technology. More on that will come later, so stay tuned.

Description

During the early stages of the Firestorm conflict, CABAL relied almost exclusively on captured Nod arsenal. It quickly became apparent that this would not be enough to grant him supremacy over both Brotherhood and GDI forces. To cover the shortcomings, CABAL begun replacing inadequate Nod designs in accordance with his own vision.

The HUNTER drone was among the first new weapons designed and fielded by CABAL. This fully robotic, all-terrain vehicle is commonly seen performing patrol and reconnaissance operations. Its dual machine guns are especially dangerous to infantry, but can deal considerable damage to lightly armored targets as well.

If the Hunter is regarded analogous to the Nod Raider buggy, then the CYCLONE drone can be seen as an evolution of the Interceptor bike. Both share a similar form, but also sport major differences. An integrated vertical missile launch system allows the Cyclone to fire at any direction while on the move, making it the ultimate harasser. As a trade-off this system has a small chance to cause misfire.
