Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

We'll be making them less bright relax, that is very apparent to us do not worry :). But the rings will be visible all the time yes, but we'll be adjusting them for the next update dont worry :). Be less IN YO FACE they are at the moment.

Maybe you could make it posible to turn them on and off by using an interface key, like turn them off when you don't need them and turn them on when you need them. like if you play and 1vs.1 Nod vs GDI it would be nice just to turn them of

I prefer the rings, they are much better than house colors, honest

Just don't make pink a selectable team color.
And what's wrong with that color particularly anyways? :P It's all about perception. Hey, maybe blue is a ridiculous color for some other sentient creature, but for us it's normal. We live in a world where the color pink is seen as ridiculous because that's how we are "thought".

Anyways, the rings look good on units, but awful on buildings. (Maybe find something other than those rings to denote player color for buildings?) I would still say go for team color for everything, but make it more like the Zerg team color in SC2, where it's dark and blends with the buildings and units perfectly, rather than overbright like in C&C games. But that's just me, and the rings still look nice on units.

I agree with Alex_06, when saying i really like the house rings on the units, but they look really odd around structures.
Perhaps a new (thinner) rectangular design would work better for structures, and leave the rings for units?
