Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

Think of the Subterrain APC, the Montauk, the Devils Tongue.

This is a very unique design of vehicle, its a screw propelled vehicle:
En.wikipedia.org

It propels itself across land *quite quickly* but no faster then GDI's MCV, and then travelling underground is slower. Te furnace at the front has a cutting drill around it which cuts into the soil/crust. That is then vaporised by the furnace which is burning VERY hot *this is the built in power source the Construction Yard has to power itself). The Red rings around the unit spin around the actual vehicle, in opposite directions giving it the screw motion. At the rear you'll notice something wedged in the back. Thats the Crane which unfolds into the crane on the actual conyard.

Undeploy anim, the front half will detach from the rear half and dig underground. This will deploy the Subterrain half of the Conyard, the top half will deploy into the Terrain part of the Conyard, which is the Crane and main structure you see on the surface.

Fits nods unique designs, sort of looks like what an upgraded monatauk would look like, nod has a history of experamenting and implimenting subterrainian vehicles, so I find it to be quite a useful asset on the battlefield.

My comment was not really intended to be negative... Your design was something I least expected and it surprised me. Different is good. ;)

I think I'll post a video of this fully animated in our next update, the design really caught my eye with how it moved. I also have concept imagery showing how it undeploy's, and which sections of the Construction Yard structure are stored in which area's of the vehicle. It has been very well thought out by the Concept Artist who did both the Construction Yard and this MCV.

Are you using this logo now? I like it a lot, it's much better than the old one, in fact, I hate the old one, is too generals-ish. This new logo has the new C&C logo created by EA for C&C3 - which is good, considering this is a C&C3 mod - and Tiberian Sun Rising written with the Westwood TS logo font and with the same filling of that same logo - which is obviously good since this is a mod based on TS -.
Again, are you keeping this new logo?

Thats just something the concept artist cooked up to label this, not a new logo design. But you have a point the current TS Rising logo was designed for TS Rising Zero Hour edition, the C&C3 edition deserves a fresh takeon the TS Rising logo. I created the original one, I may give the concept artists a go at this one see what happens ;).

This thing alone gets me excited about this mod. The design looks plausible and i think it totally fits nod. Can't wait to use one of these bad boys to setup a hidden base behind my enemy :D

Kind of looks like what would happened if you put a Montauk, Arrakis sand worm, and the functionality of an MCV in a blender.
