"War... War never changes. The reasons why we fight these wars remain much the same; some are fought to conquer, for religious and ideological beliefs, other wars are fought over gold, oil, spices – natural resources and money. Power is the key element. This war is no different - except there's nothing natural about Tiberium. The year is 1995 and we have just begun to open up our eyes to view a brave new future, some will come to say it's a horrific future. It is the Dawn of the Tiberian future." --- Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. Our goal is to bring C&C1;to a new engine, with enhanced features and graphics while also bringing back much of the classic style of gameplay while not taking steps back from what C&C3;implemented in the series as gameplay features. This is not of course our only goal - the idea of the total-conversion was inspired by an art piece by Godwin that showed the cruelty and bitter humanity of...

so does GDI get the bradley or nod becuase realy its a APC and is a companion vehical to the M1 Abrams. I know it said in the booklet that it was a bradley but would in it look funny for nod to have a US vehical
I would suggest a T-55 or T-72 for nod anyway thats just my thoughts if you want e-mail me my e-mail is magnus_2008@rock.com I realy know a lot about tanks so if you have any questions I would be more than happy to help.

Well, in TD, Nod imports their vehicles from abroad, they do not build them like GDI (per the official strategy guide). They need things small enough to fit in an aircraft, but large enough to pack a punch. The Bradley, for Nod, will be modified from a standard IFV, to hold a much larger 75 mm APDS cannon, which adds equipment and ammo significantly to the inside, making it impractical as a troop transport, but ideal as a light tank.

Feel free to read the manuals and guide to confirm the weapon ;)

yeah I know thats what it says in the booklet but I was just putting it out there, and if the bradley is going to be on nods side and is going to be from the book then the model up there should have a 75mm gun and not a 25mm cannon, not saying its a great model because it looks very good just like every thing you guys are making for this mod.

We're sticking to TD's original ideas as much as possible.

Nod gets its vehicals from all places... They are a 'Terroist' Group but I wouldnt call them that I'd call them freedom fighters I guess :)

Honestly, did the light tanks in any of the TD games look like Bradleys whatsoever? No. And I mean PC, Playstation, and Nintendo versions here. This is only the first Tiberium War. Nod is not yet a superpower, but rather several terrorist cells and third world countries unified by a central command. They would not be able to obtain Bradleys in the 1990s as they would not have any real power in the U.S. at that time. More likely, they would be using former Soviet equipment that their third world support would be oh-so-happy to provide, not to mention Russia itself would likely supply them. To see several Bradleys fighting several M1s will look ridiculous, and to see a 25mm cannon doing the damage of a 75mm cannon will be even more ridiculous. As you are adding other units in anyways, rather than sticking exactly to the book, I see no reason why you couldn't make a few tweaks here and there for realism (such as adding third world equipment for Nod, and if not that, at least making the Bradley's gun appear to be a 75mm cannon if it is going to do that much damage.)

I think this will be the best mod built for C&C 3, but I don't want to see any potential lost. It is silly things like this that can make people frown on a mod or game.

(omfg, I hate people like this, who can't ******* accept realism adds substance) This is why we need communist firing squads.

The mod team is doing great, having a T-72 instead of a Bradley is plain retarded, we all know that according to the official storyline there was a big scandal involving defense contractors from the so called "first world" supporting NOD, so that explains all the Bradleys and C-17 cargo planes, as well as the buggy
