Where did the hobbits get all these chain-mail shirts and leaf-blade swords? Maybe it would be more appropriate if hobbits were kept as skirmishers and ambushers and just given farming tools? Pitch-forks, axes, mattocks and such, with carving knives and cleavers for secondary-weapons?
I'm not sure about any of what I just said, but it might be nicer to keep hobbits truer to their described late-Third Age character (ignoring Bullroarer, who, I believe, was much earlier).
In LOTR, the books and the movies, we only really see Hobbiton, supposedly were the laziest and most peaceful of the Hobbits live. Theres a good chance the Tooks or Bree Hobbits would have more weapons.
Very good!!!!
Great Job KK as always ;)
hobbit infantry? my life is now complete
I will now have a army of Hobbits VS a army of Mordor attack Trolls >:D

Good stuff :)

I rather like the design, but I do have to ask:
