First Age? Isn't that the Silmarillion? The end of the Second Age came with the destruction of Sauron by the Last Alliance, if my memory serves.
yeah, I'm an idiot.. thanks for the correction Ilsamir. your right the First Age was the Silmarillion. I knew that was the second age, I didn't apply my LOTR knowledge lol! but still a First Age total war mod would still be sweet, it's a little bit more darker, I guess you could say, than from the Third Age..
It would be awesome to see the Elven Kingdoms of that period and perhaps the primitive tribes of Men as well - let alone Morgoth!
Yes! That would be awesome. Imagine a recreation of the Nírnaeth Arnoediad (Battle of unnumbered tears). Elves from gondolin, nargothrond, Men, dwarves, and morgoths host all going at each other in a huge clash.

Fits with the pace and then they could make like CoD and make a Prequel XD
