Awesome lighting! Now all we need is amnesia on half-life 1.

That's a big opportunity for quite a lot of new mapping styles with Goldsource! Love it!

Well that depends on the image you want to add and the effect you want to get. They didnt do that but I'm going to to that XD The fact that paranoia hadnt that feature doesnt mean it is not coded in. They simply didnt use projected textures in the "right" way. Right for me ofc

Very cool! Well used. Wonder why BUzer did not use it in his maps.

Also, I really like the noise effect. Is there but is not noticeable. I mean, is noticeable, but not in a annoying way. Thanks for adding it!

Description

Yes, I've done it. I managed to unveal one of the many secrets kept in buzer's work. At first I couldnt figure it out, but here I am. Projected textures give you not only the possibility to make awesome lighting from a window and change its color and position DYNAMICALLY, but you can also create very realistic effects with this system, such as IES Lights with a very high quality of shadowing on brushes, AND bumpmapped! I'm excited and pleased to announce that I will use this stuff extensively, the game is aiming at Resident Evil Remake \ RE4 beta 3 quality of lighting right now. ^^ Oh, and dont forget: I still need help. If you can code, in particular, I'd like to have a helping hand on my side for a little feature I have in mind. Stay tuned! More awesome coming!!

EDIT: I saw the image is not showing up for some reason. You can find it here I.imgur.com
