Description

As in real life PAVN attacks, indirect fire support in the form of a 122mm or 140mm rocket barrage usually precedes infantry waves, composed of sappers, riflemen and heavy weapons teams.

Mortars keep enemy heads down and provide covering fire for retreating PAVN forces. Armor sometimes turns up, but mostly to provide indirect fire support or bring down enemy strike and CAS aircraft.

Here's an example of an effective PAVN raid. Two American platoons are destroyed and a hilltop firebase overrun within minutes, courtesy of fast-moving (and very brave!) Vietnamese troops.

Please don't forget to download the latest version to access new units, songs and a more realistic combat system!
