The Modern World is a scenario that tries to mimic the Modern World Geopolitics in Making History The Calm & The Storm Gold Edition.

This mod was originally made by XTU in 2014 (see archive) and I added a lot of stuff, making it a solid mod that differs a lot from the original version.
This mod was made with dedication and love for this game which I've spent hours playing.
Don't forget to play it on multiplayer and recommend this old game to everyone that loves history, geopolitics and strategy. Also I recommend installing the More Anthems mod for a better experience.
Some of the features of the mod are:
- 36 playable countries with 9-12 or more cities, armed forces, and a stable economy at the beginning.
- Access to advanced technology including new atomic weapons.
- New UI resembling the Modern World.
- Separatists Nations waiting to be liberated (based on real movements).
- Updated world population.
- New Industrial food added (another way to get food).
- Diplomacy based on real international relations.
- More cities and resources added to the map based on the real location of them (The scenario never has lack of resources).

Hey, I think there is a bug due to which the economy is impossibly difficult to manage, eg, the US starts out with a deficit of 400 million, i tracked it down to huge infrastructure costs in food production, pl take a look
