In order to give you a little sneak peek on our upcoming preview, we present a map showing the allocation of each Area of Recruitment for TIW-Ultimate.
So many AoRs! Does that mean a ton of mercs to choose from?
Each area will have its own unit roster.
No, not exactly. You will be able to recruit these units from your "normal" barracks. It'll be explained more detailed on Friday :)
YES I can be my Swiss Ancestors. Can I just rack up a ton of money and pay the other factions to go to war for fun and then fund both sides while profiting off the death and destruction? :)
Well, what we do plan is to implement several new events between France and the Swiss in regard of their mercenary contracts for Swiss Soldiers. So kind of you'll be able to profit from their wars ;)
Variety is the spice of life, and you guys have so much spice this mod is looking like a bazaar!
Our aim is to provide a realistic situation for the player and also to increase the difficulty. Cos in ultimate it won't be that easy anymore to conquer new territories far away from your homeland ;)

Well each region has its own roster, as I already said, but it depends on the region. For example, in Italy the rosters aren't very different from each other, but between Italy and Africa, you'll have a two absolutely complete different rosters :)
Makes kind of sense, doesn't it? :D
You could make a bigger map and add some other Europan Countries, like Ottomans, Some minor hre factions, France, Aragon
