Description
A castle defence AI has been added to the Kingdom of Erebor map. In later releases of The Age of the Ring (after the Rivendell faction) you will be able to co-op besiege AotR's custom fortress maps like Erebor, and the planned Minas Tirith, Edoras and more.
This is a work in progress, and we plan to release an official AotR add-on to download so you can provide feedback and have fun while you wait for the next release.

Competition? No. We had no idea Edain's plans were similar to ours in this regard.
Although in their new maps you defend a fortress from AI attackers, whereas in this map the player attacks Erebor defend by an AI attacker.
Yes, it is a reverse of concepts. Fudge has done such a fantastic job with the AI that it I almost fear to besiege the Erebor gate. After only a couple of tests last night, thousands of Orcs lay dead there.
