some very nice and wise words. Very true. No doubt, they are fierce warriors and have the strongest infantry. For me, they can be even stronger than the mighty uruk-hai
My strategy:
Never enough goblin/orc warriors. Don't bother with archers. Throw some heroes with leadership bonuses into the mix and you're golden
well, for Elves, you just have to make Legolas, Thranduil, your custom hero (optional), Elrond and fill all cap.population with mirkkwood archers! With upgraded arrows, they are unbeatable
