No, I'm not telling you a Second Age character is in Age of the Ring, good grief! =p If you look closely those are actually the ruins of Ost-in-Edhil that they are defending (but don't look too closely, lol. I had fun making this scene).
The Seige of Eregion references a special power that the Rivendell Noldor Veterans have that buffs them. Its a reference to past wars. And you can check out the faction plans for the full details.
