11 unique factions full of new heroes, spells, and abilities. Hundreds of new maps. A brand-new campaign. A thoroughly reworked and expanded War of the Ring mode - and much more!
congrats
so now AotR and Edain have both take top spots one year, imo the 2 best LotR BFME mods out there, now if only Mental Omega can get a top spot one year
I'm glad your work has had some sort of recognition, I've recently found out about this mod after having played bfme2 casually for years and I just cant go back to vanilla. I don't really enjoy any other Tolkien-themed game so this is a big deal for me. Thank you for keeping this game fresh and visually engaging, I cant get over how stunning the Mirkwood faction looks, and how it contrasts with Dol Guldur. I can feel how these two worlds struggle to coexist in the same landscape. The whole experience is such an upgrade from the base game. The lore, new maps and campaigns are fascinating. I guess the focus here is on the 3rd age still I can't help but wonder how you would take on the Fen of Serech, Dorthonion, Angband, Himring, Gondolin, Menegroth, and the factions of the Elder Days. I haven't looked around much but I believe it would take a team with this level of talent, vision and consistency to bring the First Age to life. I'm really looking forward to future releases, 6.0/6.1 was released sooner than I expected so I've been checking for updates on a daily basis now!
