We weren't satisfied with the fortress we'd created previously, so we made this instead. Normal versus fully upgraded.

I like the War of the Ring feeling about it (the Evil side Shadow Lair).This style fits the Haradwaith faction much better.

Very cool design! Is this based on an existing concept or all designed by you guys?
I'd say it's a mix of many concepts as I have mentioned above part of it (golden domes and slightly sloped walls) maybe inspired from a 2003 video game called "War of the Ring".
The devs of this game got the right from Tolkien Enterprises to develop a LotR game but decided to base it on the books thus the game itself is a good source of rare and unused LotR concept art.
A few of the Elven/Dunedain Buildings (good side) and some of the Evil side buildings would really look cool if remade for AotR/BFME. The game also has MANY unused concept especially about Haradrims. The unique thing about this game is that is licensed by Tolkien Enterprises.

I see this beauty and the new model for Gondor fortress, and I need to ask, will Mordor and Isengard get a new fortress model too?
Because they would be the only two factions with old models. And, yeah, they are not bad, but can not be compared with Erebor, or Misty Mountains, wich are art pieces.
