How exactly do you get the machine guns to work/fire?
It's as easy as right-clicking on an enemy or stopping the tank and letting the crew handle the targetting themselves.
If you mean from a development perspective, there is a way to get artillery guns to move without a carriage.
Like making those carriages invisible and untouchable?
maybe an idea of making a small video how to tank works?
There will at the very least be a readme included in the DL files. Using tanks Properly will require a bit of skill and combined arms warfare so naturally we don't want the player to throw them one apiece undefended at the enemy.

I have a question Aanker, are there two versions of the A7V? Just asking because of this picture showing a "female A7V" and another picture were the A7V has a 57mm gun...
I guess the response is a bit late but yes, there are two versions. The A7V "male" is the one armed with the 57mm gun, and also the one that was historically used by Germany during the war. The A7V "female" is based on the Heidi which was not used during the war itself but rather during the troubles in Germany following the abdication of the emperor. Its presence is mostly for gameplay reasons.
