Background:

After a brief period of unity, the once glorious Yuan Dynasty is like an old man approaching his twilight, and though Toghon Temür (Emperor Shun), who had ascended to the throne after many hardships, employed famous ministers like Toqto'a and Chaghan Temur, the latter suppressed the rebellion through southern and northern wars, and the former issued various laws to ease conflicts, the ruling class's internal fighting and Emperor Shun's complacency, believing that the rejuvenation was certain, led inevitably to the downfall of the Yuan Dynasty.

At that time, Chaghan Temur had no power and Toqto'a was exiled, and Zhu Yuanzhang, a leader of the Red Turban Army, had already occupied a large area from Jiankang to Jiangzhou and was even approaching Wuchang. Under the nominal leadership of the southern Red Turban Army's Xiaoming King Han Lin’er, Zhu Yuanzhang was appointed as Duke of Wu, though the landowner Li Siqi temporarily stopped HanSong's attack in Gansu, the rising peasant rebellion had become a major crisis for the Yuan Dynasty.

Chen Youliang and Zhu Yuanzhang competed for the southeast, Chen Youliang occupied a large area of Hu and Guang in Jiangxi, and after Zhang Shicheng made use of the internal conflicts of the Yuan Dynasty to defeat Toqto'a, he rested and prepared to recruit talents and occupy the large areas of northern Jiangsu and southern Shandong, and with ambitious plans to establish his own kingdom. Factions

In this game mod, players can choose to play as the Ming dynasty and try to unify China and drive out invaders, or play as one of the many warlords and factions vying for power during this tumultuous time in Chinese history. The game offers a challenging and historically-accurate portrayal of this period in China's past.

In 1361 CE, the uprising of the Red Turban Army gradually fell into a low ebb. Xiaoming King Han Lin'er named Zhu Yuanzhang the Duke of Wu.

1. Great Yuan Imperial Court: Occupying a vast area from the northeast to the Mongolian plains to Tibet, with rich and comprehensive armies, powerful cavalry, but low infantry morale

Campaign Scripts

Start year 1361, 8 turns a year

1. Chen Youliang's Eastern Expedition (Battle of Longwan) (Completed)

Chen Youliang's army of half a full-stack appeared in the vicinity of Nanjing during the third round, and the two sides were in a state of war.

2. Battle of Anqing (completed)

In the fifth round, Chen Youliang's army of half a full-stack besieged Anqing.

3. The plot of the Poyang Lake battle (Completed)

Zhu Yuanzhang occupies Nanjing and develops to 1363. If the city is greater than or equal to 15 and Zhu Wenzheng sticks to Hongdu for 1 round, the story of the Poyang Lake War will be triggered. A few full-strength pairs would appear at Poyang Lake, and correspondingly, a few full-strength stack of Chen Youliang would also appear.

4. Storyline of the Battle of Anfeng (Completed)

When playing as Zhu Yuanzhang, before the Battle of Lake Poyang in 1363, the player may trigger the "Zhu Yuanzhang goes north to capture a King" scenario and choose to go north. If they choose yes, the Anfeng region will form the Great Song Dynasty, and two fully-equipped armies led by Zhang Shicheng will fight to support Anfeng and maintain a alliance with the Great Song, and fight against Zhang Shicheng. If they choose no, nothing will happen, the player will defeat the Yuan army or Han Lin'er survive and Anfeng is not lost, HanSong merges into Zhu Yuanzhang, if Han Lin'er dies or Anfeng is lost, the scenario will fail and HanSong will be destroyed, nothing happens to Zhu Yuanzhang.

6. Zhu Yuanzhang's northern campaign scenario (Completed)

After eliminating the forces of Chen Youliang and Zhang Shicheng and occupying Nanjing, Wuchang, Pingjiang, and more than 30 cities, the player will trigger Zhu Yuanzhang's northern campaign scenario. Two half-stack armies will appear near Anfeng and Bianliang and will fight against the Great Yuan and the King of Henan. The Great Yuan and the King of Henan will have four half-stack armies appear near Bianliang.

7. Zhu Yuanzhang Proclaimed Emperor (Completed)

After the northern campaign scenario, if the player occupies cities such as Nanjing, Wuchang, Pingjiang, Bianliang, and Yangzhou, and controls more than 45 cities, the player will trigger the scenario where Zhu Yuanzhang declares himself emperor. This will award the player with 100,000 gold, and Zhu Yuanzhang's biography will change from King of Wu to Emperor Hongwu. The player will also unlock the buildings for the Imperial Guard and the Pacification Commissioner's Office and be able to recruit the Embroidered Uniform Guard (锦衣卫), Five Military Camps (五军营), Three Thousand Camps (三千营), and the Divine Machine Camp (神机营) troops."

8. Revival of the Great Song Dynasty (Completed)

If the player is playing as Han Lin'er and controls cities such as Anfeng, Bianliang, Haozhou, and Luoyang and controls more than 30 cities, the player will trigger the Great Song Dynasty Revival scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold and unlock the recruitment of the Palace Before Officer (殿前司) troops.

9. Great Han Dynasty Revival

If the player is playing as Chen Youliang and controls cities such as Wuchang, Nanjing, and more than 30 cities, the player will trigger the Great Han Dynasty Revival scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold and unlock the recruitment of the Han King's Personal Guard troops.

10. Great Wu dominates the southeast

If the player is playing as Zhang Shicheng and controls cities such as Pingjiang, Nanjing, and more than 30 cities, the player will trigger the Great Wu Dominates Southeast scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold, and unlock the recruitment of the Zhou Military Revitalizing Camp (周军振武营) troops.

If the player is playing as Zhang Shicheng and controls cities such as Pingjiang, Nanjing, and more than 40 cities, and Zhang Shicheng is still alive, the player will trigger the scenario where they will unlock the recruitment of the Dragon Galloping Cavalry (龙骧骑) and Tiger Brave (虎贲兵) troops, and award the player with 100,000 gold.

11. Dominating the Southwest

If the player is playing as Ming Yuzhen or Yuan Liangwang and controls cities such as Chengdu, Kunming, and Chongqing, and controls more than 30 cities, the player will trigger the Great Xia Dominates the Southwest scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold and unlock the recruitment of the Brave Large Axe Camp (神勇大斧营) troops.

12. Assassination of Chaghan Temur

At the 10th turn, the Assassination of Chaghan Temur script will trigger, and he will be assassinated. His adopted son, Köke Temür (Wang Baobao), will inherit his position and troops.

13. Wang Baobao tries to save the Great Yuan

If Wang Baobao defeats the Red Turban Army and HanSong forces, the player will trigger the scenario where Wang Baobao tries to save the Great Yuan. This will award the player with 100,000 gold and unlock the recruitment of the Henan King's Personal Troops and a full-stack will appear near Bianliang.

14. Dominating the Northwest Scenario

If the player is playing as Li Siqi or Zhang Liangbi and controls cities such as Xi'an, Gongchang, Ningxia, and Ganshou, and controls more than 30 cities, the player will trigger the Dominating the Northwest Scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold and unlock the recruitment of Musket Troops.

15. Timur dominates Transoxiana

In the 14th round, in 1362, Timur and his brother-in-law, Amir Husayn, the lord of Herat, rebelled against the nobles of Moghulistan, by supporting the puppet Soyurghatmïsh Khan. This will allowed him to divide and dominate Transoxiana, which will award Timur with 100,000 gold. Timur will be at war against the Chagatai Khanate and the Golden Horde.

16. Establishment of the Timurid Empire

After 50 turns, if Timur controls cities such as Kashgar, Andijan, and more than 8 cities, the player will trigger the Establishment of the Timurid Empire Scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold and unlock the recruitment of the Naffatun Grenadier and Dagan Hero Cavalry troops.

17. Great Yuan Revival

If the player chooses the Great Yuan and defeats the Red Turban Army and HanSong forces, and controls cities such as Dadu, Bianliang, Anfeng, Jinan, Taiyuan, Xi'an, Nanjing, Wuchang, and controls more than 60 cities, the player will trigger the Great Yuan Revival scenario. This will award the player with 100,000 gold.

18. City Renaming, Dadu Renamed as Beiping

When the Ming Dynasty controls Dadu, the City Renaming scenario will trigger and Dadu will be renamed as Beiping, and triggers Emperor Shun’s escape to the north, Northern Yuan Dynasty established plot, and the Yuan imperial court will have 100,000 gold deducted.
