Due to multiple reports from the battlefield of Chinooks being shot down with enemy long-range SAM Systems, the United States Army has received more conventional way of supplies collecting - a supply truck.
Available right after Supply Center is built, Oshkosh LVSR (Logistic Vehicle System Replacement) can provide you steady income without a risk of being shot down by enemy AA.
Despite U.S. Supply Centers are constructed mainly for aerial collecting, you won't lose much and will get stable 3000$ per minute with 2 trucks on a supply dock, just like if you collect with 2 Chinooks.
Is this replacing Chinooks?

The Chinooks will remain as main supply collecting method for USA. After Supply Center is built, you'll get Chinook.
