New unit for US SOCOM!
AGM-129 Launcher carries two long-range cruise missiles. It has more range and damage than Tomahawk. You'll be able to improve it even more with AGM-129B Nuclear Missile upgrade. It'll considerably increase damage and will disable enemy units and structures.
Its a bit weird to put an Aircraft Launched missile on a ground based launcher.. BUT I like new units that are quite unique :D
One of the reasons may be that US army has nearly no TEL-capable ground-based cruise missiles, except ship-based Tomahawks and Harpoons. And those are old AF. In my (now quite dead) mod I was tackling the same problem.
It's not a problem, it's a game so we can do what ever we want in order to be nice and fun :)
Definitely. 'Cuz, well, reality is kinda dull.
I mean, the problem is that you look through US rockets for inspiration for your rocket artillery, but there is nearly none :(

Why not also improve the air fighters by adding cruise missle armaments or small cluster bombs as well that will be cool... Nice new unit btw:)
Usually, you have separate aircrafts for that purpose with appropriate armament. Fighters are for air superiority and point targets (like tanks, yes).
if this goes to SOCOM, who gets USMC Nuke Silo?
