We know that this is ESO style again, but:
1) Original Forebears troops were mess
2) ESO design for redguards is pretty good

But this doesn´t look like redguards or that they come from desert at all... more like argonians combined with dunmers, absolutely terrible.(that green color ruins it) Instead of this you could have reskined the outdated hammerfell bodyguards and maybe the nomad swordsmen + archers + cav...

The only visual source of redguards armor look except of ESO is Skyrim, but it shows only Alik'r warriors. But here is the problem - Alik'r is a sand desert, unlike all other Hammerfell, which have a steppes, rainforests, stone wastelands etc. And this armor is good combined to all other Forebears units by using some middle-eastern motifs, unlike their previous armor.

I know that we know only how Alikr warriors look like but that doesnt explain this... It doesn´t even look like that they come from steps, etc., more like argonians and dumners(as i already said) and it wouldnt look that bad if it had different color. Oh, and those middle-easter motifs look dumb on this armor.

Argonians use mix of tribal and aztec motifs and dunmer use mostly bonemold and chitin motifs which both have nothing related to this armor and clothing. These units, again, use some fantasy-style pieces of arabic armor and clothing (not only capes, but also suits other armor).
I'll say that again - if only we had more stable and lore-proved source except of TESO, we'd used it. TES2 doesn't shows examples of redguard armors, TESO shows and also provide good source for picking up textures.
And they have curved swords :)

No, like i said it feels like argonians and dunmers combined, why? Well thats becouse of the color green which makes them look like they come from black marsh and the armor looks like something tribunal would use + the symbols look like something Great House Telvanni would use. Oh and TES2 shows at least a bit what redguars would use. Those guards in Sentinel even tho they are just reskined Daggerfall guards but still could provide a great example.(basically daggerfall guards but with different color, symbols and hats + to make the armor look more like chain male then heavy armor as you have for fac Daggerfall in ESTW)

I still don't understand why those symbols look like something from Morrowind, cos I believe that not only dunmers may use wickerworks, traceries and reliefs in their design (just like many cultures in real life).
As for your proposal about guards with different colour and accessories - we said "no" for that kind of design from very beginning, because it looks like vanilla Medieval with a same design for 50% of units, and it's uninteresting.

Because some people have a certain look in their heads and when those looks arnt met they are disappointed. Even if we know like nothing about that land (besides ESO content xD)

Perhaps we could solve this issue by using the old armors on a separate unit. Use the old armors on a militia unit of some sort, or sergeants.

Yes, look at Broken Creasent mod for middle-eastern armors.

And should we look to Europa Barbarorum or De Bello Mundi for roman armors for Cyrodiil Empire? Redguards are not exact replica middle-eastern culture, actually their culture includes a lot of motifs from other eastern nations. Moreover, dunmer have no less connection with arabic culture than redguards (Moon and Star, Hlaalu building design, some armor motifs and so on), but also it has a lot of other inspiration. Cyrodiil isn't a replica of Roman Empire, and nords aren't a pure vikigns in historical, political and design aspects. Should I continue?
I know that you guys will not run out of arguments, but we too. I hope it does not sound weird in english.

"and should we look to Europa Barbarorum or De Bello Mundi for roman armours for CE" thats so stupid becouse you already have a visual from the TES games how they should look like -_- Of course redguards arent exact replica of middle-eastern nations, but that way you just reskined them is stupid and doesnt fit the Elder Scrolls universe(+ the redguard armours from ESO look so stupid unlike other quite good armours in that game) Oh, and i will never run out of arguments unlike you(and you already run out of them when i see your stupid answers with no meaning at all) That being said i still cant wait for another version of The Elder Scrolls Online: Total War :)

Are you real? Let me ******* pinch myself heres a reality check these guy's are making this high quality mod for free they gave you good examples as in trying to stay close to lore but you're entitled prick *** isn't satisfied and whines about it fights and harasses the devs and brings down morale so friend **** off

Stop calling me a prick you little piece of **** and open your eyes and look at how this mod is going downhill. "high quality mod" in some parts, yes it is high quality, in a lot of other not so much. And I am not trying to stay close to the lore as much as possible cuz if yes, then the whole mod would be bad but thats not the case. The problem is with this reskin and some other unit textures, some lore mistakes which can be easily fixed cuz it is only text based. And yes, they are making it for free and in their free time which i salute them for that, but what of it when the result looks like this?

"Of course redguards arent exact replica of middle-eastern nations, but that way you just reskined them is stupid and doesnt fit the Elder Scrolls universe" - "Because it's my opinion" - that's what you should have said. It doesn't fit TES universe because why? Because it's in TES universe? Because it's in a game which is a part of Elder Scrolls Lore?
And you know, man, I don't want to speak with you in that way. If it's normal for you to call people "stupid" and after that tell them "oh, sorry, I was angry, etc." then you should know that it's unnormal for me. I believe that if one begins to use "language" instead of normal communication, he is exactly the one who run out of arguments. So farewell and good luck.

So, i didnt called anyone stupid(just so you know oh and btw your fanboys started attacking me first) And yes, its my opinion, but i would get same responce if i wrote it there. And it doesnt fit the Elder Scrolls universe but becouse you are too lazy to came up with some better idea then this https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/redguard+Style (which looks like something bosmer would use) then yeah... Oh, and you are the one that ran out of arguments cuz you dont want to talk to me anymore :)

LMAOOO you're so ******* salty. Any non-Dunmer and non-Argonian faction/culture can use green in their armor. Hell, just about every faction in this (amazing and cool) mod uses green in some way. They're not going to change it because one person thinks no other faction or culture besides the Dunmer and Argonians should use green. Get off your high horse, *******.

Do you think that i dont know that any fac can use green color? Of course they can but if it looks like this(not fitting the theme) then its a no no from me. And if you call me ******* one more time then you will regret it :)

Roupy, For your sake, I hope this is your last rude comment to these hardworking lads, someone will be sending a written report on your behavior to Moddb staff so they can kick you off the site along with your idiocy. All you seem to do is troll and harass almost just as bad as our buddy Loht (though admittedly, not even Loht is as much of a child as yourself, at least he can appreciate hard work and act civil, sometimes.)

I am no troll cuz if I would then i would have comments about all mods for M2TW on ModDB. I am not trying to be rude but when I dont like something then i say a lot of things :) Oh, and Loht atleast posts a lot of bug reports and such so I dont think that he is trolling or harassing :)

Argonians don't have a monopoly on green dyes. Besides, the Argonian units have a darker motif, focusing on dark yellow and brown hues, which reaches a peak with the shadowscale unit. Whicker and leather is their armament.

Dunmer have a distinctly yellow colour on account of their chitin armour. Other colours are there for more variety, but none of the factions have an olive dye scheme and the yellow is still a more distinctive colour.

Concerning the armament, a scapula and head scarf is a logical choice of clothing for arid locales. You may get head scarfs with some Dunmer units, but there seems to be a suggestion here that it is a Dunmer thing - the head scarf is the most prominent and noticeable part of both this design and the Alikr design, which should illustrate that the key motif here is correct.

The only issue I'd have here is that olive is a tad too dark a colour for arid conditions - it would absorb too much of the heat. Otherwise, it looks great and the most important thing is that the armour is consistent.

They look amazing! Just that heavy armor on a really hot weather does not work that well. Tho, the templars could fight in such harsh conditions, in their heavy armor. Pretty cool! Please reskin the mercenaries as well and Dagoth Ur bodyguard unit.

Finally, the Hammerfell units (from both factions) were really bad. The quality was far lower than the quality of other factions. I hope you will reskin most of the roster. Love the new design <3
