"The Elder Scrolls: Total War" is a total conversion of Medieval 2 Total War - Kingdoms. It gives you a glimpse into the world of The Elder Sсrolls, as the head of one of the 20 factions fighting for dominance over Tamriel...
Having these landmarks is pointless in my opinion as they are trade resources, thus limiting the number of different trade resources to only a few elsewhere. Also having custom battlemaps for them is also pointless since you will never fight there (the Adamantine Tower for example).
You make a good point maybe they could give a resource value to the landmarks so they arent just scenery? All dwemer ruin cities could give "Dwemer artifacts" as a trade good for example if adding an actual resource value wouldnt disable the unique model somehow? Im assuming these are trade hoods with unique models so it should work
is it possible to use one trade resource for all landmarks ?because i think they make the map look unique and one ressource loss is not that much of a deal
That's why they don't have custom battlemaps, except Direnni Tower, which you can reach and which will have it's own settlement in second campaign. And we'll not add much more resources, except of, i suppouse, orichalc and moon stone
the direnni tower counts as a watchtower how did you make that work ? wayrest can still build watchtowers without direnni towers plopping up everywhere (whitch would be preeeettty awesome xD)
Looks very interesting. Will this have a custom battle-map?
Myabe :)

They do have a resource value. I've seen merchants trading "Halls of the Colossus" and the city also trades "Halls of the Colossus"
They're trading stones with magic properties : )
"Hey, hey, want a brick from the legendary halls of the colossus?"

Not if you want different visuals.
