About:
The Curved Road is a vanilla+ global modification that adds completely new features and tasks to the already existing storyline of Shadow of Chernobyl. The new tasks are not only added to the base game locations but to some of the newly added ones as well. There are ten new maps, various graphical enhancements and a new weapon pack (Gunslinger WP).

Features:

  • Gunslinger WP is added.
  • Absolute Nature environment textures have been added.
  • CGIM Origin weather has been added.
  • Some textures have had their quality increased using neural networks.
  • Soft water (r2), Soft particles (r2), Sunshafts (r2), Grass drawing distance (r1, r2), Bloodmarks (r1, r2) implementation
  • The game can now use 4 GB of RAM
  • Fixed some bugs of the original (STALKER FIX + original edits)
  • Some new weapons have been added.
  • Some new armors have been added.
  • The player starts with a weak suit called "Marked One's suit" just like in the intro.
  • Food items no longer restore health.
  • A sleeping bag is added.
  • A repair system with its own menu is added.
  • Dead bodies have collision.
  • Some of the more well known stashes have either been replaced or removed, such as the merc suit and artifact in Rookie Village being replaced with medkits.
  • Controllers have a melee attack now.
  • Some new stashes have been added.
  • You have three days to complete base game side quests instead of one.
  • New level transitions added, such as Agroprom > Cordon.
  • EAX zones are added.
  • You can carry ten artifacts now.
  • The PSZ-9d Duty armor has been returned to the bandit base as in the earlier versions.
  • You can add attachments to guns you previously couldn't.
  • Artifact transmutating is added. You can combine common artifacts to make rare ones.
  • Boss enemies have been added to certain levels.
  • There is freeplay after the ending.

New Tasks & Storyline Alterations:

  • Nimble doesn't have the flash drive on him, you need to find it in the field behind the vehicle station.
  • Wolf gives a task to find his lost weapon.
  • Sidorovich gives a task to find the fate of the unique military suits.
  • A new character called Shark has been added to the grain elevator in Cordon. He gives three new tasks: Bring a case to Sidorovich, Kill the snitch, Take over the Cordon bridge.
  • Yurik gives two tasks: Bring the unique weapon in the tunnel, Find the stash.
  • A new task has been added to Agroprom, you have to save a stalker hiding in a tunnel from bandits. He then offers to take you to his camp nearby, which has more new quests.
  • A new character called Budnik has been added to aforementioned Agroprom camp. He gives seven new tasks : Deliver the ammo box, Take measurements, Find the artifact transmutator and its instructions, Kill the dogs (forest), Kill the dogs (factory), Kill the pseudodogs, Kill the fleshes.
  • Another controller has been added to the other side of the tunnel in Agroprom Underground.
  • Barkeep no longer has the key for X-18, you have to find it from somewhere else. Borov still has his key.
  • Barkeep gives five new tasks: Bring the suit from the lab, Find the missing weapon crate, Find the mercenary squad, Kill Tyrant the mercenary leader and bring his PDA, Meet with Harpoon in Dead City.
  • Snitch gives a new task: Crash the Duty - Military meeting and grab the case.
  • A new character called Rat has been added to the new map, Stalker's Camp. He gives two tasks: Bring food to the stalkers, Return the keys.
  • After exiting X-18 and escaping from the military attack you don't end up in Cordon, you travel to Dark Hollow (darkscape) and then make your way to Cordon.
  • A new character called Beast has been added to Dark Hollow. He gives six new tasks: Destroy the APC, Kill the pseudogiants, Kill the gas station bandits, bring a dog tail, bring a snork foot, bring bloodsucker tentacles.
  • A new character called Weirdo has been added to Dark Hollow. He gives two new tasks: Find the lost weapon, find the deed.
  • Sakharov doesn't send you to take measurements straight away, first he needs equipment that an expedition was carrying to study the Swamps. You have to travel to Swamps and find the group.
  • A new character called Benito has been added to the Swamps. He gives a new task: Check the controller lairs and find a rare artifact that can block the psi powers of the rare controller. You're supposed to fight it using the artifact and reach Sakharov's missing expedition.
  • Sakharov gives a new task: Get the case from the downed helicopter.
  • After you meet Doctor in Agroprom Underground he invites you to visit him in the Swamps.
  • Doctor gives five new tasks: Find the Droplets artifact, Find the Stone Blood artifact, Find the Goldfish artifact, Find Strelok's Group's hidden stash in Red Forest, Find out what happened to Doctor's dog.
  • Skinflint gives two new tasks: Learn the secret Dark Valley > Army Warehouses transition, Get the cargo dropped from the helicopter.
  • Lukash gives a new task: Destroy the bandits.
  • Screw gives a new task: Collect ingredients to create the unique exoskeleton (usable).
  • A new character called Harpoon has been added to Dead City. He gives six new tasks: Take the base back from the bandits, Find the PDA, Kill the bloodsuckers, Kill the boars, Kill the dogs (house), Kill the dogs (swamp)
  • There is a choice to either take the regular path to CNPP or find Strelok's stash in Red Forest to discover a detour. Both choices have different quests assigned to them.
  • Two old "friends" are at Red Forest. They are involved in a single new task.
  • A new character called Owl has been added to Radar. He gives two tasks: Escort the group to the lab, Get the documents from the lab.
  • You now have to travel to Generators if you refuse to join C-Consciousness.
  • The game doesn't end after destroying C-Consciousness, you have to travel to Pripyat instead.
  • A new search task has been added. You have to find four hidden keys in different maps to open a safe.
  • Skull gives four new tasks: Kill Murk and bring his PDA, Kill Cap, Find the hidden food stash in the village, Kill the Freedomers who are trying to take the base back.
  • A new character called Nick has been added to Pripyat. He gives the task to get them out of the spatial bubble. Completing this task will send the player to the hidden "Factory" location.
  • A new character called Solaire has been added to Pripyat. He gives the task to find the Sun artifact.

Nothing whatsoever, I translated everything as close as possible to the original and made some fixes like adjusting the broken inventory icons of some items or adding some missing strings.

So i exited the space bubble in Pripyat... There are no new tasks. Is this the end?

The end was the usual SoC one, you've been playing the extra content. The rest is freeplay after that.

Just started the game and like it so far but cant find Nimbles flash drive. Have been running around behind vehicle station holding f key but no luck. Is there any more specific location for it?

It's marked on the map, although when you load it disappears. Still the location is in a tree near the rails, in the east

Where do i find Doc's dog? I looked in the swamps but i have trouble finding him... And another question. Doc tells me that I need to choose weather i go to the Red Forest for the stash or Radar to turn off the brain scorcher... Will this choice have any impact?

Follow the road in the middle all the way to the left.

As for the decision, it will impact the story. You can only choose one.
