A series of balance tweaks and restoration of some content that was present in vanilla Dawn of War, but was cut in the expansions. Put it in your Soulstorm folder after installing the Campaign mod and say yes to overwrite everything it asks.
What is included:
- Upgrades now give the same bonuses to all races, instead of giving more to eldar and orks, and less to space marines. Similar to vanilla.
- Accuracy on the move has been improved and is closer to how it was in vanilla.
- Restored weapon options for chaos marines, vypers and wartraks.
- Not restored weapon options for slugga boyz, shoota boyz and tankbustas, because there was unnecessary overlap.
- Killa kans are now medium vehicles instead of high vehicles (which are only supposed to be for landraiders, baneblades and other super vehicles).
- Vypers are noe light vehicles, like all other fast harassment vehicles.
- Reduced fire prism health.
- Reduced flash git accuracy from sniper level to regular ork level.
- Meganobs can have attached commanders.
- Grey Knights, Khorne Berzerkers and possessed marines now have morale.
- Servitors no longer have morale, because they were to whiny and sounded like an actually important space marine squad was in danger if an enemy so much as looked in their direction.
- Tartarus guardsmen and leman russ have the same health as their imperial guard counterparts.
- All units for the factions used in the campaigns can be seen in the army painter.
I think Grey Knights not having morale was a good design decision as they're designed to never bend to chaos.
Well, I'd like morale breaking to be a little more viable, and it seemed unfair to only make chaos units more susceptible to it, hence the change. But all of the changed units still have better morale and morale regeneration than other units, so they don't break easily.
