Hello everyone, my name is Damien, you may also know me as the lead developer of my well-known for it's unique-ness Loreleine. For anyone who is here to hear news about Loreleine-- it is currently on hold until further notice. However, if you are here for this project, then welcome!
As of recently i have been struggling with creating anything for Loreleine: the pressure of my team to create something new and different for Portal has given me a lot of stress and i decided to dumb down the amounts of "woah this is new" and work on a much more simpler project called Subsequence. Purpose of Subsequence for me is to learn to map better, see what people like and improve later on puzzle and level design, as well as optimization.
This new mod will allow me to work on puzzle ideas, but at the same time have less pressure to be the best that i can be now. I have plans for future Portal content for sure, but at the moment i have been needing an important break from experimentation.
Keep in mind that this mod is mostly for fun and is not supposed to be a serious project. With that said, this mod will be a short campaign with little story, featuring 14 puzzles (+bonus maps coming with future updates).
