Amazing! Yes, this model looks much better than the previous.
Yeah, for strange reasons the old one was problematic. The first thing is that I still have a 3DS Max rendering problem so I'm showing our models with the default render.
The last problem is that there wasn't any smoothing group on it and it seems that it was a software recurrent problem. So we had to improve our model with another 3D software, Maya, before adding other details for the third and last version. We plan to add multiple details to the ship.
And believe me, 2800 polygons for that ship, actually, is really great. Both models in our mod are optimized like that.
Our BC-304 model, modeled by Julian "EchoRed" Vinet, was about 8000 polygons before its optimization. Now it's about 3500 polygons with the same amount of details !

No. Our model is great actually and adding details won't be useful.
