Stargate Space Conflict is a total-conversion developed and published by Phoenix Interactive that aims to recreate the universe of the Stargate franchise into Homeworld Remastered (both series are represented). Modification in partnership with Tunngle and Stargate Invasion.
From an epic journey across the Stargate comes the story of human explorers. The universe is a dangerous place for such a young race, full of enemies and vile creatures. Which side will you choose ? It's all up to you. Play as Tau'ri, Goau'ld and Wraith. The modification highlights an exclusive original score, sophisticated graphics rendering technology, speeches, an immersive and realistic Stargate atmosphere, incredible features and more!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have these ships fighting
on the same battlefront, at the same time?
With the 28th of November passing by, we’re celebrating the 14th anniversary of Stargate Space Conflict! This is a great opportunity for us to reveal more details about the future, and release exclusive content for our community.
On this day, in 2005, the development of Stargate Space Conflict (total-conversion for Homeworld 2 Classic) debuted. 14 years later, Phoenix Interactive now counts 3 mods for Homeworld 2 Remastered and 1 game in development.
A big milestone was reached in early 2019 as our mods have been downloaded over one million times, with Stargate Space Conflict leading the chart at 500.000 downloads. We can’t overstate how thankful we are for all the players who downloaded our releases.
A few weeks back, we piloted the initiative of revealing great things for our 14th anniversary. Today, we share with you great news about our respective mods and their release dates.
But, we’re not done yet. We will release as well the soundtrack and wallpapers of Stargate Space Conflict, including a 3D downloadable version of our BC-304 for all 3D printers out there. So let’s dig into the special events you can look forward to in December and early 2020!
The highly-anticipated remastered version of Stargate Space Conflict will finally drop in January 2020.
As said previously in our blog, in order to get content out the door to players at a steadier rate, we decided to deliver this remastered version into seasonal drops, each of them representing an era of the Stargate series.
Therefore, you will receive the season updates via the Steam Workshop without subscribing to new content. We believe this seasonal experience is the best way to let fans live out and create their own Stargate battles. Get ready, Colonel: The first season is coming, and its name is Milky Way.
Hell yeah, he’s back! The BioWare trilogy returns to Homeworld Remastered next year with a brand new version, entirely restored in 4K.
With the interest going on for Stargate Space Conflict, it’s easy to miss some of the previous announcements from Phoenix Interactive, including the new development of Mass Effect: Reborn.
Missioned to invigorate the environments and ships of Mass Effect: Reborn Classic Edition, our artists work with the help of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to release a 4K version for Homeworld: Remastered. The project is going very well, and we can’t wait to show you in the days to come exclusive previews.
This brand new version will feature new in-game mechanics and incredible visuals, featuring exactly the same vibes and feeling as the Mass Effect Trilogy. You better ready, as the new edition will hit your computers in Q2 2020.
If you’re a long-time Phoenix Interactive player (or just generally observant), you’ve probably noticed our official announcement from early 2019 for Battlestar Galactica Fleet Commander.
This time around you are in absolute control over your speed, pitch, roll, and weapons as you take command of an assortment of lovingly-recreated Battlestars. It’s an entirely different experience than what you’ve played in the original Battlestar Galactica: Fleet Commander, whether you’re rolling away from salvo fire with the Galactica or blasting an enemy out of the sky with the Pegasus.
The strategic manoeuvres are entirely of your own invention. Every shift of the Homeworld controls results in a delightful response from your Battlestar. It’s a pure skill environment where the true commanders and admirals will rise above the rest on the merits of their vision and strategies.
With the help of the amazing Cylon Machine Learning, the Artificial Intelligence will adapt itself to your fleet movements. Sorry guys, no more Cylon raiders rush against your flak…We will keep you updated with all these Battlestar stuff in the weeks to come.
The excitement we’ve seen around this 14th anniversary content with Stargate, Mass Effect and Battlestar and more, has been especially inspiring for the team and left us with a feeling that we’re rounding up the year in a good place.
In the following days, we will give you instant access to our Official Soundtrack and to some exclusive wallpapers.
But that’s not all. For all 3D printers, you will receive our BC-304 made for Stargate Space Conflict.
While we’ve improved the mods and changed the way we operate, we are constantly looking for new ways to enhance our content. We have a passionate team that’s thrilled about continuing to improve Phoenix Interactive total-conversions, and we’re looking forward to sharing more on this in the weeks coming.
Thanks for playing,
