Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.
Based on the planetary Shield Generator the Tau'ri developed a big satellite equipped with a shield emitter. This satellite is used to cover spaceships in a vast shield bubble to protect them from hostile fire. Due to its enormous energy consumption the shield satellite is powered by several Naquadah Generators. Four solar panels attached to the hull are providing additional energy and serve as an emergency generator.
Iam curious :) Will the shield be visible or not ( in final version ) ?

Will it run out of energy or would enemies have to go through it? the AI is stupid and would not go through it or that is what I am told.
It's like a regular shild, so it's lose power if it get hits.
After all shild energy is gone the shild fails and your force have to face the full power of the enemy ;)

Correct.
But the units inside of the shild can shoot against the enemy.
can your units from outside hit enemy units inside?

it seems like.. a little too much... not saying it'd be op or something. It seems like it's not needed though. One thing i hate most in mods is when they try to put in too much content, i do have high hopes though
Well, each faction has its own "special" satellite. You know the one of the Wraith already, the repair satellite.
So it's not pointless, but a special feature of the Tau'ri.
Don't worry, we don't add useless stuff (that's why we don't add the Destiny, the Achilles and such things)

Um... can enemy units walk in? and keep shooting and ignore the shield?
They could but the shild cover just a small area so there is not mutch space for enemy ships.
Hm,that´s remind me: Will be still possible,that ships could get trough (crash without damage) themself.

This mod is completely awesome! As a coder I know how much work that has been done on just the original EaW mod, and this will hopefully solve the greatest issue as I see it with that: The mod needs more units!
