Nimbus Commandos
Model & Texture: Skye
The Nimbus commandos were the elite bodyguard of the Jabiimi nationalist leader Alto Stratus during the early stages of the Clone wars. After the battle of Jabiim, they became one of the many local forces in the CIS war effort.
They actually managed to survive post-clone wars, allying up with the Galactic Empire and others still going on to do mercenary work for various clients well into the New Republic era.
Unlikely to make it into 1.3, but without question an interesting piece for the planned militia reworks in the .4 cycle.
Nice. Remember these guys from the Republic comic series.
I'm curious to see what the militia reworks will entail.
