Related to Replacing Jovan with Cardan-class V... Cardan-class V can be the same as Jovan in term of firepower except it had most bank targets, strongest hull, shield and armor compared to all other factions but house the least starfighters like 10 squadron at most with full hangar upgrade, have similar access to Traders Construction Bay version but can build capital ships instead, however building ships are much costlier and slower build rate like 20% to 50% respectively than standard Imperial frigate & capital factory and it's research access relocated to tier 4 instead of most faction's star base at tier 3 except Vasari at tier 2 via Jarum Migrator..

Imperial Remnant have new research access similar to Captain Teren Rogriss ultimate ability Summon 181st TIE Defender squadron and Bellator's deploy the Defenders ability but only accessible by upgrading 3rd Cardan-class V hangar slot... It deploys 4 squadron in a limited time for planetary defenses when all the odds are against it... Like the arrival of multiple enemy capital ships or a single titan entering it's space.. It's cooldown time are only shorter than Thrawn's calling Gilad Pellion for assist cooldown ability..

Accessible by going to squadron slot where we choose which strike craft to build, scrap, deploy or dock them.. It placed beside TIE Interceptor slot but it's downside are unlike the one used by Remnan'ts Rogriss and Bellator... it cost resources and only once use until either scuttled or destroyed.. It's cooldown time are twice slower than TIE Interceptor squad's full build rate..

As for Imperial Golan III, newer version adds Heavy Turbolaser among standard Turbolaser and it's hangars expanded, allowing an addition of 1 extra squadron and access to TIE Interceptor.. Extra point defense laser can be added via Jovan's Starfighter Defense Research which accessible to all Imperials...

Imperial Warlords however can add TIE Defender to Cardan-class V Star Base as it's defense squadron due to unique access to TIE Defender research... It's Golan III newer version now have access to place TIE Interceptor in return to reduced it's weapon damage output as it removes a less likely targeted weapons and replaces it with additional armor..

Imperial's Area Shields are now enhanced than Rebel's due to their newer technology usage which leads to expanded cover range to 15000, its additional shield capacity upped to 1500 and recharge rate increased to 7.5/s from 6.0/s before...

Imperial Warlords Grand Moff Ardus Kane invest some shield enhancement budget which increase all it's structure & star base shield restore rate to 25% while Admiral Thrawn focused on increasing it's Planet Bombard Absorption rate to 80% from 65% currently..

Rebel Alliance

Is it possible to use Empress-class Space Station as uncolonizable Deep Space Construction Base that equipped with Proton Torpedo & Heavy Ion Cannon used by Planetary version to stun a single capital ships at a time and acts as a repair station but unable to upgrade it at all..

The structure buildup modified into:

Equip Military R&D Center with standard Laser, naming it Defense R&D Station while also gives similar Target Guidance Bonus seen by Military R&D Center which helps destroying targets smaller than capital ship with added Laser Barrage ability that gives temporarily increased weapon cooldown and chance to hit for a time..

Equip Civilian R&D Center with Propaganda center which helps reduce enemy culture spread but slower rate than usual Propoganda center used at owned planets in order to avoid detection by Imperial fleet. It also has Holonet Expert Bonus that also increase antimatter restore to all units within it's gravity well.

XQ1 Platform replaced with XQ2 that comes with the addition of small refinery port which could do the same as any refinery center except it only can go within it's gravity well and can't travel due to it's cargo freighter has no hyperdrive installed.... It also house 1 additional squadron and expands the use of older strikecraft like older Y-wing bomber similar to the one currently training in Z-95 Headhunter in Send The Rookies ability

---- Rebel Alliance now have access to deploy rarely used H-wing or Alpha-3 Nimbus (V-Wing) for new pilots aiming to ride B-wing or A-wing in the future.. I named it Send The Newbies for such research are similar to Send The Rookies ability.. It deploys 2 V-Wing and 1 H-wing squadron per hangars..

-------- Send The Rookies research should allow pilots that use older Y-wing for training similar to Z-95 version as well.. Now Spawns 3 Z-95 H and 2 older Y-wing squadron per hangars..

Repair Platform changed to using Golan I Turret which armed with standard Turbolaser w/out hangars.. Cheap but weak defenses are useful as player cannot build Proton Torpedo defense turret at uncolonizable zone....

---- Now up to 5 buildable slot at the end instead of 4..

Could be updated in the next Interregnum version or make it as a special minimod for v1.90 use as well someday

Need a little correction...

THE Golan I Turret i mentioned before, change it to frigate factory as it's Deep Construction Base cannot build anything else AS to symbolize their capability to survive w/out planets as long as they control star base, titan and capital ships but this time it also include Deep Construction Base built at uncolonizable instead with frigate factory added...
