Expanding Fronts is a massive modification for Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds aimed to breathe life back into the classic LucasArts strategy game by adding various new units, features, and gameplay elements. Each of the 8 civilizations are being reworked and enhanced to make each feel more unique and authentic to the universe, while maintaining the classic Battlegrounds gameplay. In addition, the Scenario Editor is being filled with hundreds of new units, buildings, effects, triggers, and objects to allow campaign and scenario designers more freedom than ever before.

Okay where is this new faction, I isntalled it and I see just the regular factions.

In order for me to get the new faction I had to run the configurator.exe after I installed the mod (although I did it manually) and checked the box to run Expanding Fronts instead of Clone Campaigns

How does that work? I did check everything in the configurator and clicked "save&exit;", but I still get no new faction after starting the x2 exe.

That was in an older version of the mod. Subfactions have since been removed.

You can still use them in the editor and perhaps even use triggers to unlock them for construction - but other than that...

Sadly, I couldn't find the E-Wing, K-Wing, or T-70, even in the scenario editor. :(

Try installing the Expanding Fronts Beta over it, then re-install this and then try running configurator. It worked for me.

PS i noticed that someone mentioned that screen resolutions were being looked into.. you guys would make me want to play this game all over again with that improvement alone. Ive started looking into how the two can co exist.

EDIT: I lied, still having launch trouble even after monkeying with it

EDIT#2: after a slow breakdown trying to run/configurate it finially magicaly started working

I love when people who are smart makes mods cause people like me dont have time in the course of a day to do this im glade there are people to cause i hate games that end too quickly i wish that game companys would support the moders who make mods for games like dose Galatic battlegrounds can u get Kylo Ren in it cause that would be awesome

literally I cant find this new faction and I'm pretty sure its not changing my factions either, I installed it, but the configurator doesn't save any of my changes
