Rebellion aims to create a realistic, multi level strategic war simulation based on the second world war, and combine it with the original trilogys feeling. You'll be managing vast parts of the Galactic Empire, and eliminate it's many adversaries, while keeping order and piece by supressing pirates and rebels, or you'll be fighting a war of attrition by leading the Alliance to Restore the Republic in a guerilla war against tyranny, spreading rebellion and hope across the galaxy.
As Fractalsponge says: the legends Carrack-class looks like a penis. Since it's very true - not that I've got any problems with phallic symbols - I've always hated that design with it's stupid 10 story high viewport.
So I've redesigned it using EvilJedis Dreadnaught model as a base, the game Dreadnaughts ship designs and images of diesel locomotives and contemporary aircraft carriers as a base, because what could be manlier than a big fckn diesel locomotive and an even bigger fckn aircraft carrier?
What do you think, ya dig it?
Bear in mind, this is just a concept, not an actual finished model.
I like it, i hated the giant viewport of the carrack so much....
DAAAAAAAAAMMMM this is such an improvement over the "imperial over compensation" that you speak of
( I know this was introduced during the republic era but the joke too HARD not mention a **** joke )
I dislike it... As the Carrack
But it's perfect as any other ship :) Like maybe a chiss modified dreadnaught
Am I the only one who liked the original?
I really like how similar it is to the Dreadnaught-class, gives a good sense of continuity between the two.
The top view gives me a Punic-Class Supercarrier feel from halo-verse, anyone else got the same feeling?
