The Munificent with the Venator and Acclamator in a small Pentastar fleet.

I applaud you for the amount of detail you've put into a game where you can't use much detail, but I have to say that those ship lights make me cry...subpar from the quality one can expect from you guys.
This model and skin (but more importantly for the lights, the UV) is from around 2009; it's going to be like this for 1.0, however as we've said a large part of 1.1 is going to be updating some of these older models, including optimizing this mesh and redoing the UV and skin, which will also include new lights and details like that.
If you want I'll redo the lightsmesh for the lights to look like these: Media.moddb.com Send me the .max file in a pm if you're interested.
In that case best of luck redoing the mesh, I hope we'll get to see it sometime soon.
Thanks but we're certainly more than capable of doing our own lights.
Until we redo the UV and the skin, the lights will look something like this regardless. Sins does not use lightmeshes, it's from a data map, which means it's part of the skin and therefore relies on the UV.

Speaking of Clone Wars Vehicles, will the Lukerhulk be available in 1.0 for the PA?
Considering the drawbacks to the Lucrehulk, I doubt it.
I mean, it's a cool ship and all (What with the swarms of fighters you get) but I rather spend my credits on two extra Venators instead (Since they're about the same price in total). You just get more swarms for your buck.
Venator has its obvious drawbacks too. I'd rather spend my credits on two extra providence then. I love the engineering of KDY but the Venator class was an obvious mistake. One that it looks ugly, the divided bridge is just a stupid stupid idea, and then there's the idiotic hangar placement on the top, opening the ships inside inviting enemy fire to it. But its mostly the stupid look.
But here's one thing the Lucrehulk didn't have, compared to the Venator...a successor ship.
The Venator was succeeded by many designs of Imperial Class Star Destroyers. The later versions also fixed the 'ugly designs' like the divided bridge and the obvious 'shoot me here' hangar.
Well that is sure, the Imperator class is everything what the Venator should have been if developed correctly, and lost that stupid red paint job too. But to be fair, the fact that the Venator has a successor doesn't make it a better ship. Providence never had a successor ( well at least I don't think so... does the MC class ships count? ) but it was a much better and cooler looking starship. To bad it was misused 90% of the time by stupid droid brains, which btw I don't understand how they have worse reaction time then human beings. Droids I get it, they're small and don't have a high processing power, but essentially a ships AI would've 10 or 100x better reaction time compared to us silly biological beings without the ability to think with the speed of light.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the Venator is uber awesome cause it has a successor ship. What I'm trying to say is: Give the Venator some respect because, without it, I doubt we would have the, much better, Imperator-class.

I don't think it looks ugly either but I can see where Tsiss is going with the flaws of the ship. Like the obvious 'shoot me here' hangars.
Its pretty it has dual bridges for a bloody reason two it has more then just the top hangar although the top hangar allowed for a faster deployment of fighters and its laavs which were housed in that hangar.
