We haven't done anything to the skyboxes yet. This is just the only vanilla one I like, so it ends up in a lot of pictures.

If the sky boxes is the background thing Sins needs more colorful ones like that. Most of the ones I play with are really dark making everything invisible.

Technically speaking... Skybox or the colored "back drop"? Lavo once explained the difference between these two, although "skybox" as a term, for many, means the whole package :)

The technical term "skybox" does refer to the whole thing, actually.

Bit.ly

There are different parts to it, but neither is more "skybox" than the others. Except for maybe the actual physical cube.

Description

As it turns out, drawing an Ecumenopolis (Coruscant) texture by hand is kind of difficult, but here's my latest attempt. It'll probably still end up getting updates as we go.

Considering we've announced the migration system, we'll give a few rough ideas about stats. These planets have extremely high populations as well as population growth rates; by far the highest in the mod, making them prime targets and very good "population farms." However, you need a few levels of planet upgrades before you can take advantage of this for taxes. Because of how developed they are, they can field several logistic and tactical structures, which combined with their tax income rates makes them very attractive as capital planets, although they tend to lack durasteel and tibanna refineries (aka resource asteroid).
