That is perhaps the prettiest corvette I've seen in a Sins SW mod so far.

No offense but something about this model feels wrong to me. I'm not exactly sure what. Maybe the main hull is too short or the engine section is too big. But as I said: I'm not sure.

I kind of see what you mean... forward of the engines looks too thin.

Then you shouldn't have commented. If you have something that is concretely off, then we'll take a look at it, but this comment didn't actually do anything for us to try and rectify the problem.

I think it's mainly just the angle when viewed from the rear. I compared it to the illustrations from the "Star Wars Incredible Cross-Sections" book We've had lying around, when viewed from the front it looks like it should. I took four years of art in highschool, so I'm pretty sure it's just the angle playing tricks on the eyes.....

We know there's something wrong with it beyond just angles. We're just trying to keep the poly count low.

It looks to me that the main body is too short compared to the engines.

I think the problem is that the engines are too large.

Hi guys, I realize the discrepancy that you are pointing out. I was looking at this while modeling, noting how the engine's are larger vertically.

That's a CR70 corvette called the "Sundered Heart" which was a different ship from the famous CR90 corvette "Tantive IV." The CR70 is a little more sleek and fashionable, while the CR90 version was built during a time of rebellion. It was made to not stand out as much and to pass by as more of a transport vessel, but it was still popular among smugglers and other criminals because it was fast.

I dunno, I see the "flaw" but I still think It fits in with the aesthetic style that the devs are going for in Ascendancy. Honestly, there are any number of pics and sources that could give different views of how this thing is supposed to look. I think it looks amazing as is.

This is the original Tantive IV, and if you are basing your model off of it, may I suggest altering the engines slightly to match the CR90 corvette design a little more closely. Although, I find your version magnificent already. The anal purists out there will tear it apart.
