That looks like a very hard-to-break-through battle line of some very powerful ships. Phew, I think you need a decent fleet to break through that massive line. Nice job!

Hapan Battle Dragons aren't that tough to beat. They where made to be used in conjunction with Nova-class battle cruisers, the drive systems are an easy target, thus immobilizing them, and they where designed to be used en masse against few targets, and so skimped out on targeting computers.

You could probably smash through with a few star destroyers.

Hm, I think those Battle Dragons may represent a part of the 63 Battle Dragons of the Hapan fleet led by Isolder's Song of War. Maybe those are a non-playable faction surrounding Hapan with this fleet. I'm not all that in with the Hapan stuff, but I always believed that they were a dangerous threat for Imperial Star destroyers even without the supporting Nova-cruisers. I think it's important to consider the tactical aspect you mentioned, so it may be up to the leading Admiral whether they win against a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers or loosing the battle and going down in spectacular flaming explosions in the vastness of space.

Ah well, it's always good to learn something new about Star Wars ship capabilities. ;)

Hapes consortium tech is of much lower quality than the Empire's or the Rebellion's. Their turbolasers are antiquated, and have a much lower yield and rate of fire, their shields are the same, their only strong point is the oval shape of the hull, allowing for rotating fire, even then the Battle Dragon can only spray fire in 1 direction and hope for a hit thanks to the ****** Targeting Computers.

As I said, they are made to be used in vast numbers against single enemies. If you bring 6 or 7 star destroyers and some support ships, you'll burn that fleet and all who serve on board in a matter of minutes.

Doesn't that depend on whether the Battle Dragon's above were fitted out before or after the New Republic shared fast-recharge turbolaser technology with the Hapes Consortium? ;)

If this is indeed the Song of War fleet of Isolder, then they wouldn't have that refit.

Not at all denying the fact that they are really cool though. Certainly one of my favorite designs. With the refit these babies are pretty much an unstoppable force, what with 6 times the firing speed of an Imperial star destroyer.

As the Alliance back when I played Awakening of the Rebellion 2 I always had a fleet of 5 of this ships, because they were the only ships powerfull enough to deal with the Executor in the Rebellion-Era.
Awesome Ship.

Cheers
