Probably not, no. There's no basis for it. The CIS and Republic sides in the mod are basically just reskins of the Empire.

Really impressed with how good the models and weapons look! Really well done dude. One thing that must change though is the thickness of the laser bolts shot from the blasters. If it be like Battlefront 1035 Battlefront 2015 lasers than that would be awesome!

I gave this mod a shot, and it's really fun! I do have some questions, though. First of all, Bespin (Elite Squadron) crashes when I try to play it with that era. Secondly, apart from the xbox DLC maps, are any of the other maps that you listed compatible with Battlefront 2, or are they only compatible with battlefront 1?
I have posted a fix for Bespin (redacted since it was for the open beta)
Also, this is a mod for SWBF2, not SWBF1. The maps listed in the 'Supported Maps' section of the readme are SWBF2 addons.
