Somehow I find it funny that Federation Starships fire on a Federation Starbase. Has a civil war broken out? ;)

I would play as the empire stamping out Borg. Fun concept.
You can already pretty much do it. Just select the Terran Empire symbol and make it yellow. There's no point in making an entire seperate faction just to change some paint on the hulls of the ships slightly.
Well look at the federation defiant class, a ship built for war. Imagine if a Galaxy Class Star ship had been outfitted for strictly combat instead of space exploration ... the ship would be a beast. The empire would build star ships for war ... so stat changes and maybe a few designs changes would be in order.
I found it funny that my single Klingon fleet with only 2 cap ships manages to rout and destroy 2 fed fleets one with their titan in.... was a nice light show though!
The Titans aren't that big of an asset in Armada 3.
try the borg titan and then try telling me that.
I find your lack of Borg Titan faith disturbing... I'll back what 'forgottenliquid' says. That behemoth is evil. I've used one. Heavily defended worlds were falling in only a few minutes. A Lv10 cube and a Titan work well as a team.
As for the Feds shooting each other, it's not the first time there's been a rogue admiral in Starfleet..
It was still fun to see, at one point I just got fed up of them having it so I ordered my entire fleet to focus fire on it. even then it still held it's shields for at least 1min.

Its a leftover from the Stellar phenomenon gravity well "ship graveyard" We're planning on changing it somewhat to reflect Star Trek in the future.
Ah fair enough, it would be quite cool if we could go against the base factions, would it be possible or would the star trek races be too powerful for them?, if not would it be possible to make a patch for people that would want that? later in the future :P

Bit of a back story for anyone interested. It was me, and 4 of my friends. Me playing federation along with a friend playing as the fed. 2 friends playing as romulans and 1 as KDF against a Vicious Aggressive Federation AI on a huge 7 star 200 planet map. Was a 5 hour match but we ended up destroying the enemy.
where is the new orleans class hidden ? i can find her , but she is on these picture .
