It does look good, but again, it's fairly dark, now, I'm not a Star Trek fan by any stretch, but I do love the mod, so I'm not entirely sure what best depicts Borg ships. It may be that a dark looming shape is the intended effect, and the best representation. Suppose darker is better than too bright.
A lot of it is dependent on the Skybox you've got in place. With this particular Green skybox things are quite dark and brooding (we find we like to use this one for Romulan and Borg vessels). When using the red or the white skyboxes the details of the Cube are more visible. If the shading is not as you'd like it, try going to options/effects and toggling colored skyboxes a couple of times. It'll change the overall aesthetic of many of the vessels and might be more to your liking. I personally have a favorite (I call it the ribbon, you'l know it when you see it if you know star trek) that I feel best shows off the ships.

cube itself needs more lights, other than that im down with the new cube.
I have only recently started playing this mod. First off it is awesome. Second i think the Borg have been nailed, all their ships always looked gloomy with very few lights. It all adds to the feeling of impending doom.
