Our new scout for the federation.
soo.. what will happen to the nova?
As with all good ships she'll be retired then scrapped or sold with the USS Nova been donated to the Starfleet Museum.
Then briefly appear as wreckage on screen at wolf 359
coz the nova is much much older than the constitution, and so must be phased out to make way for the newer ships ;)
The Nova's were retired ofc, the crews had this fetish for dissolving lifeforms for energy just to get to risa a few minutes faster :/ Although this cool ship could indicate a future project, there is a lot of source material for TOS/TMP era modding.
Hmm the nacelles don't look like high powered hair dryers. Something is wrong....is this an alternate timeline? :P

It won't be in the mod as the dev's have stated over and over. This ship is from the TOS era not the DS9 era, its a joke based on all the endless requests from peeps that don't know trek very well :D
Actually from the tmp era and appeared in tng although as debris at Wolf 359. Same age as the Miranda and Ktinga. Not a stretch of the mind to see it have some role in the mod.
TOS, TMP, you know the era i meant. A quarter of a side of an engineering hull in wolf 359 doesn't exactly prove it either. There are ships that use components from other classes, the Excelsior parts appear on several other ships for example. The Miranda, Excelsior, K'tinga play prominent roles in all the shows, this never did once other than a possible debris field part.

There are many ships that in the mod that have not been in the shows... so yeah there's that. The only reason people want it in the mod is that they love the ship. You could make it a colony, freighter or something that just floats around and be completely useless and I would still build it... cause I love it:)

Yeah that's coz the shows didn't provide a lot on the romulans and not quite enough on the klingons. Devs had to take as credible sources as they could find, feds are fully fleshed out easily though.

this might have a use as some surplus ship sold off to planetary militias, be one of those ships guarding unclaimed planets. theres a bit of precedent for this, thanks to crazy shattner's ashes of eden novel
