Hi Guys,

Is there likely going to be a patch? I've now played 18 games, 4 Fed, 4 Card (dominion), 2 Borg, 4 Kling and 4 Rom and I've had a mini dump on 16 games, all at varying points.

Hope to hear back soon

Thanks

You shouldn't be getting minidumps at all, and considering how few people have come forward with problems like this I'd say the problem is more likely to be on your end than with the mod. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it with the little information you've given us, and without being physically present in front of your computer. My recommendation would be to reinstall the mod with a fresh download.

Ofcourse, I understand, Just played as the Feds, 3 hours in, all research complete, built the Typhoon it was a bright blue (Team Colour) went to save and Game closed, no error message, no mini dump. I'm trying to work out what this could have been. It has to be my end rather than the mod.

Description

The pivotal moment of the Battle of Tyra - with flagship USS North Star cut off and under heavy attack, USS Adamant takes command and tries desperately to consolidate the Seventh Fleet's position.

It is common knowledge that the opening days and weeks of the Dominion War went very poorly for the Federation. Starfleet had been modernising and expanding the fleet since the emergence of the Borg threat and the disastrous Battle of Wolf 359, yet even with growing numbers of advanced and far more tactically-oriented starships prepared to meet the Dominion in combat, the bulk of the fleet was still made up of older starships relying on extensive upgrades to be effective on a modern battlefield.

To make matters worse, Starfleet was badly outnumbered. With an unparalleled shipbuilding rate of the Dominion had produced a formidable military force in the Alpha Quadrant in a short period of time. Combined with the restored fleet of the Cardassian Union, the Dominion outnumbered Starfleet forces by a factor of nearly three to one. This meant that not only was Starfleet outnumbered in most engagements, but also that the Dominion enjoyed far more operational freedom than Starfleet forces - Dominion formations were free to bypass Starfleet positions almost at will, forcing Starfleet to adopt a strategy of 'tactical withdrawal' in order to avoid their fleets being surrounded and destroyed.

The repeated cycle of 'engage and retreat' ground away at Starfleet's morale until precious little remained. As such, a great deal of hope was placed in Starfleet's most significant counterattack into Dominion held territory since the assault on Torros III at the beginning of the war.
