Hello folks, sorry for the lack of updates. Allot of real life things going on within the team. Would you believe it if i said someone on the team even got married! Anyway, this little bugger is a ship i wanted to get done for CTA but never got around and its finally making its debut again in 1.2 this allong with some other 359 ships that previously havent seen the light of day.
She is really gorgeous! What's her fleetrole?
Warp-in support. Springfield class. One of the weirder designs as the saucer section and secondary hull aren't actually connected except via a few support beams.
So they just... beam around the ship if they want to go places? Or are there turbolifts inside these support beams? :D
Thanks for the quick reply, slaver of my choice.
You're a good slave. It will be a sad day when I finally sell you off.
My guess would be turboshafts in the support beams. It would be kind of a pain to rely on site-to-site transporters all the time.
Galaxy class and Nebula class has another sibling, hmm? :)
any way to increase the fed cap ship limit
yes there is, simply unbin your files, find the entity files pertaining to the supply and cap roles (should be easy, they're numbered one to 8. Change them in your editor to your choice then re-bin them.
Hey Gul i know he was joking about 359 ships but that ship up there that coming in the patch right if so are what other ships are getting updated?
was it really necessary to include 3 deck tall windows?
It is when its canon
Could be some kind of multilevel Promenade-style section. I dunno, it's a weird but oddly appealing design.
Well, just to make sure, I double checked every single canon picture of the ship model, and don't see any evidence of that being necessarily canon. There's maybe evidence of the lower dome section being much flatter, with 1 normal size row of windows, but thats about all that could be claimed canon in this case. I prefer the proportions the way you made them though, even with that small detail i take issue with its a beautiful model, easily the best ever created for that ship.
