Hello stalkers,

My name is Kahvana, and have been modding stalker more than playing it (for 3-4? years). But, that's not what you're here for.

You might wonder to yourself why anyone should release yet another merge mod that's only overhauling the vanilla game without extra story or whatsoever, and that's a good question. While the mod section is over saturated with merge mods, I believe that most of them have something in common: the lack of an polished experience.

This is where S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Redux comes in. Like Metro Redux, I aim to improve the overall experience by polishing it (graphical, audio, gameplay, user interface) while adding certain features for convenience.

To get a better perspective at how the merge mod will look like, here is a list of mods want to combine:
Graphics
- atmosfear 3
- enhanced sun effects 1.12b (no lensflare is optional, ported from coc)
- swtc skyboxes 1.12 (ported from coc)
- absolute nature 4 (green by default, other variations will be optional)
- stalker 2k grass addon (2k, 4k optional)
- stalker 2k v5.1
- asphaltum gigantus v2
- structures redux 2.5d (ported from coc)
- poor man details v0.3
- PHARM 0.5 (2k optional)
- pure water v1.5
Audio
- TRX - audio revamp
- music in bar (radios work in the safe zones)
- science bunker door fix
Gameplay
- removable quest items
- a new medic at zaton (for when the time comes)
- AI tweaks 2.10
- W.A.R.F.I.G.H.T.E.R. (ported from coc)
- stalker tweaks (ported from coc)

NOTE that this isn't the final list and is subject to change.

Besides those things, I plan on:
- making nimble a normal trader (with still very high prices)
- use a stripped-down version of STCoP 2.9 (to be more like OWR 2.1 lite)
- use animated detectors
- use a custom made UI (for a more clean and modern experience)
- modified ALIFE smart terrain sections

TL;DR: Overall, the mod is more or less an enhanced vanilla experience with improved visuals, audio and gameplay.

That's it for now! I'll keep you guys posted on the development of the mod as soon as I got something to show or announce.

Happy hunting, stalker.
