I need a quick guide to this warfare part. I am playing since 23 ingame days and except for Stalker declaring war on Clear Sky i havent seen anything "warfare like". There are no squads running around or any message of any capturing. I hope some one still reads this forum and can help me.

Well... I play Warfare back in the days I still plays CoC xd ( I never play a single game without warfare ;) )

Here is a complete guide for you ;)

So here is the thing... opening your PDA with warfare mode on, you can see there are many circles and faction icons. Faction icon means that point is kept by the faction. There is 4 kinds of points: Base, Resource, Territory and Lair.

Base points is the most important point in this mode, it can spawn squads after a while, which keep your faction to stay alive in the zone. It also contain some resources, we will get to that later.

Resource points is the second most important point in warfare, it provide your factions resources points, which can faster your squad spawn time, and overall improve your faction's members ranks and equipment. Base points also contain some resources point but it is not enough for you.

Territory points is nothing but a outpost, you can dispatch a squad there to defend surrounding area, or treat them as a backup squad that support a firefight near them.

Lair is the less using point in the warfare, as the name suggested. It is the lair of wildlife creatures in the zone, mutants will spawn in these points, and mutants from other areas will go to these Lair points and stay there.

But you can control your faction members across the zone by using your PDA. By right click your faction's squad and right click enemy points, you can order them to attack that point, or you don't trust your AI allies, you can also capture points yourself( but I found out that sometime it didn't work) by get close to the point you want to capture and right click to select capture point. If you have enough cash, you can also purchase squads or even friendly helicopter from your base to support you (but it seems that Anomaly 1.5 patch 2.4 had broken this feature...)

If you feel lazy, you can just let the AI the help you control the whole faction, AI will attack enemy and capture valuable points themselves, and you can use the influence points, that you collected by killing enemy stalker, to set your AI teammates to target one specific point.

Well... after all these stuff I hope you can understand more about warfare mode ;) There still a lot of things that I didn't mention and you can check it out yourself in the settings :p

Have fun, STALKER.

I have to push this thread ...

What am I doing wrong that I don't see any of this? I'm pretty sure I have activated warfare (Options Extra => Warfare => All out war) but nothing seems to happen.
Is there anything else I have to do?

/e: damn it, not compatible with story mode :(

you need to select warfare mode when starting a character you either start story mode or warfare mode, i have found no way to alternate between.
