No more horrendous camera shake during emissions !!
Zergh's No Emission Camera Shake
If like me you utterly HATE the horrendous and uncalled for camera shake during emissions then this addon is for you ! XD
Manual: Put Gamedata folder into your game directory;
Mod Manager Option 1: Use JSGE (Mod Enabler) & Enable the modification;
Mod Manager Option 2: Use Mod Organizer to install it (this is my personal preference);
Note: Mod has been created and tested on version 1.5.1; If an update is released i'll update mod IF needed.

This is perfect. Gratze.
My pleasure ! XD
Excellent
Never liked the camera shake. Seemed illogical to me.
Agreed and the reason i made it. XD
при выбросе у вас всегда будет голова трещать. так мод не лорный
Wow, didn't know I hated these shakes either. Thanks.
My pleasure ! Its hard to do inventory or trade while the world whirls around ilogically :P
Indeed! ^^
Much needed no more Having Spasm and seizures.
I'm about to sit down and see if I can't figure out how to make this play well with the Murder of Crows mod.
Would suggest considering a patch for those of us wanting to keep the Murder of Crows mod. (Yup, some of us seem to be too lazy to figure out fixing things on our own). Will let you know if I'm successful.
I don't see why it wouldn't, or need a patch for that matter. I checked that mod out and all it seems to do is the same function of the blowout siren for psi-storms, and the only thing my mod does is eliminate the horrendous camera shake caused by the quake effect. If you can tell me how my mod somehow interferes with that i'll see what i can do XD
Both Addons use surge_manager.script, so if one overwrites the other...I'm a Mod Organizer 2 user, and love how quickly it points out conflicts.
I've almost got them merged (I think) going line by line with both scripts open in notepad side by side. Don't trust these aging eyes of mine, so going to go through them another time before I fire up Anomaly and see if it worked.
Yours has fewer changed lines, so I'm pasting those into the other script.
Allright then ! Didn't knew that mod used surge manager script. A suggestion though, use Notepad++, its what i used because it has an awesome search function and you can install a compare script that compares 2 files and highlights the differences. When you are done if you want to send it my way i'll post it here as a patch too. XD
Not sure what I've been waiting on, but you are right. Notepad ++ IS the way to go!
I've got a patch for the main addon done now, and am doing the "hurry up and wait" for a Blowout. Using debug's not an option, as the crows want to sing 60 sec's prior.
If it goes as anticipated, I'll zip it up and put it on google drive for you.
One question though: Pre-blowout Murder of Crows has several options. Crow's Music, Quieter Crows, and Re-timed. Should I do them all so it can be a complete patch?
Cheers
Since people may want to use one option over another doing them all would be ideal XD
I've removed the link until I've heard back from Ethylia, the mod author in question.
Allright man. Just ping me with the link when it's ok and i'll link to it in the main post. Also, a "proprietary" license most of the time just means the author couldn't be bothered to actually choose a license for his work (like i did) and is the default option when uploading, so if you don't even realize the option is there the license will end up as proprietary. The authors who DO bother with licenses make a point of making that much clear in the mods description itself. So people usually do the mods then IF the author complains they negotiate with the author and if that fails they remove the mod.
Still no word from Ethylia. I think I'll wait a couple more days, and if no word I'll put it up myself with links to both your addons and a note saying if Ethylia wants me to take it down I will. I think it'll be less messy that way.
How it looks:
"if Ethylia wants me to take it down I will" - Thats kind of standard in this community as far as i noticed, which is why i mentioned in my answer that authors who actually worry about their work will explicitly state on their description what license they are using and any caveats to it they may want to add. Its looking sweet ! Maybe i'll install that mod myself seeing as there is no early warning to emissions XD
Thank you Zergh.
Hello, fellow Zerg player, for the swarm! right?
Nice addon.
Yes ! For Kerrigans curves !!! Ahem, i mean ... FOR THE SWARM !! XD
Thanks man ! Always nice to give back to the swarm ! I mean, the community XD
Thanks for the mod,too much shakes.
I suppose it could be excused as a mental effect, say how Stalkers talk about getting headaches afterwards, but honestly it just makes combat while in a shelter a nightmare.
Great work
