- Increased frequency, and distance the vortex's spawn at.
- Increased outfit resistance pentation, psi helmet no longer makes you 100% immune from psi effects and mind damage, mid tier gear is with psi enough to reduce mind damage. Taking pills will negate the loss but you may still suffer psi effect like blurriness and screen sway.
- You will also receive more direct psi and electric damage while also receiving hits in a larger radius around vortex's.
- Adjusted the lighting schemes for day time and night time storms, storms will be darker and now have bluish hue.
- Added more particles like , like blowing leaves, whirlwinds, electrical effects.
- fixed the bug that caused the vortex phase of the psi storm ending really early or when entering buildings. There is some RNG for the duration of the vortex phase of the storm. So near the end of the storm you may see the vortex end a little early. Which was part of the normal behavior for the storm.
This mod increase the frequency of psi storm lightning, wind, trees movement and psi storm vortex's. making the storms more dangerous as well as visually exciting.
I found psi-storms a little lack luster. This adds some intensity to the affair.
No new assets just a tweak to psi-storms configs and the psi-storm manager scripts.
Compatibility i know horror overhaul changes the horn sound. load my mod after you will only lose the psi-storm horn sound
A lot of the vortex behavior is defined in the psi-management script
horror overhauls only change in that script, is the horn sound.
I may get around to doing a compatibility patch.
Use a mod manager like MO2.

I have them back to back before and the psi-management script kind of piggy backs on the surge-management script so i guess its possible. as long as nothing broke I guess we are good.

Hello, you have a mistake in the name of the "configs" folder, you have it written "Сonfigs"
It's not case sensitive.
Horror compatibility patch already included?
Load my mod after. You only lose the horn sound for psi storms that's used in that mod.
welp i tried this one without dark signal sounds and it's pretty loud. now im gonna do a playthrough with this and dark signal sounds so wish me luck :P

How to reduce vortexes frequency ?
*EDIT* I think i figured it out, so i decided to set some values close to the original ones. Opened psi_storm_manager.script and changed :
self.vortex_period_min=4
self.vortex_period_max=8
OR
self.vortex_period_min=4
self.vortex_period_max=7
(this latter one is smaller in difference)
